WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS ALL ABOUT

The student will receive instruction in hair shaping, including the application of hair tonics and hair spray, beard trimming, mustache trimming, hair and scalp treatment, shampoo and rinse, and hair setting. Upon successful completion of the program hours, clinical services, and final exam, the student will receive a diploma and will be registered with the state licensing board.

Individuals who enroll in this program will learn all facets of barbering techniques using the clipper and shears. The course includes the art of shaving the face and neck, cutting and arranging hair, facials, business development, wellness and retail knowledge. This program is intended to train students to enter the workforce as a restricted barber.
